Ice Fishing Equipment

With the harsh weather we have been having, it may be some time before we see any signs of spring. If the weather in your state is experiencing cold temperatures and you are considering ice fishing, you will need ice fishing equipment.

Auger: The high-precision chromium blade cutting head is equipped with tightly wound fluting for easy ice chip removal. A fold-down handle makes it easy to store and transport out on the ice.

Ice Sled: This is a collapsible ice gear sled that pulls like a feather. Even when loaded with all the essentials for a day of fishing, electronics, bait, tackle and more, this sled won't tire you out. Unassembled, the Pak Sled rolls up and stores neatly into a shoulder bag. It also fits easily into the trunk of a small car, allowing previously restricted anglers to access ice almost anywhere. In addition, you will need boot chains; ice fishing mitts; fish and bucket kit; small flashlight; lantern; matches or lighter for propane heater; tip-ups; leaders for tip-ups; quick strike rigs for tip-ups; sunglasses; needle nose pliers; and, of course, an ice armor suit or similar clothing to keep you nice and warm. For the tent, you may want to bring along an ice heater as well.
